Staying in a hotel is not always what you want to do when you travel. I like to have a kitchen and a hot tub. Sometimes you have a big group and you want to hang out together in a common space. And if you have a large group, the hotel bill will be a big one.
THE solution is to type in “Vacation Rentals” into Google and see the multitude of websites where eager home owners all over the world will rent out their homes, apartments and condos. The major player in renting vacation homes is VRBO (Vacation Rentals By Owner). It’s easy to navigate. It’s easy to contact owners.
The only caveat, which isn’t much, is that there usually is a cleaning fee involved and you have to do a little extra cleanup before you leave such as dumping the trash and removing the sheets.
